Dominic need his coffee like a junkie needed his junk food... so, of course, he was planning on getting a donut too. He had slept in pretty late, and had to go to work later in the afternoon, so he needed something to wake him up. Desperately. Unaware of the sorcerer's dismay at sleeping in so late, the sun shone cheerfully in the bright blue sky and the birds were singing in the trees as Summers rushed through the streets, bumping in a few people on his way. "Sorry!" he said more than a few times, ignoring the death glares a few of the people gave him. He needed coffee, and he wasn't afraid to bump into a few people to get it. Dodging through a few stray dogs, he finally turned the corner and reached the street that the Dust sat on; a pretty little place that Dominic often took walks through. But today, he needed caffeine and something to eat, no time for a walk down the street.
He slipped into the café, which was surprisingly empty for this time of day. Sighing, Dominic lined up behind a few other people, more relaxed now that he was inside the place itself. His brain was a bit calmer as he ordered a cappuccino and a sugar-coated donut, knowing that he had about an hour to chill before he had to go to work and be pretty for the camera. So he didn't mind it when most of the sugar spilled down his front, added in with a few splotches of coffee. He could always change his clothes later, after all. It wasn't like he was going to be posing in his everyday street clothes, because that would just be... odd. Even if he did have pretty good taste in clothes, they weren't magazine-worthy material. Especially now that his shirt had a coffee stain that probably wouldn't come out for a few weeks.
He sighed again and leaned back in his chair, feet beating lightly on the patio to the rhythm of some random song that had found its way into Dominic's head. Though both his hair and clothes were untidy by now, he was looking perfectly content sitting there and watching people walk past. It was interesting to speculate on where they were going, and Summers would have been doing just that if he wasn't so zoned out at the moment. A portal to Earth could have opened up right next to him and he wouldn't have noticed, though obviously, that wasn't going to happen. He kind of wished it would, though... he had always wanted to go there. Well, no, only since about five years ago, but that was long enough for his pea-sized brain to categorize as "always". Head resting in his hand, he stared absently off into the distance, not keeping track of the time at all.
