Silas sports lemon blond hair. It's very thick and layered so that it extends outward in spikes. He has bangs that fall into his line of vision. The longest pieces of hair are at the back of his head, falling midway down his neck.

Silas has brilliant brown eyes. They always communicate an inhuman, comforting warmth characteristic of the faery species.

APPEARANCE

This teenage looks the part of his species just as much as any other faery out there. Silas has an innocent child-like appearance that serves as a way to disarm other creatures. The warmth of his brilliant brown eyes also reassures others of his intentions in the way of the faeries. As more of a personal trait, Silas has a very straight, trained posture that suggests confidence opposed to general laziness. And his smile alone could inspire a smile for most. Surprisingly, his smirk manages to fit his features just as easily as a smile, giving him a mischievous quality. Silas' heights on the short side for a sixteen year old- he's just shy of five feet, four inches, but few find this odd when they couple his height with his general appearance.

SECRETS

He won't say so aloud, but his most guarded secret is that he no longer finds the stolen children as satisfying as he did in his youth. Once the stolen children were someone to take care of, then playmates- now they're responsibility for a few years, then they're just people he knows. While he cares deeply for them, he knows there's more to life than just taking care of the children. Feeling this way disappoints him, however.

HISTORY

Silas grew up in a household where he wasn't the favorite. He was his parents only biological kid, but he was treated like a second class citizen. While he got taken care of, he was no one's priority. But he didn't let this deter him from trying to make his parents proud. His mother wanted him to pursue religion and his father wanted him to be a professional military man. They both insisted he had the traits to chase either, so he divided his time and learned to be good at both. The teachings of religion provided him with determination and charisma. The world of military training taught him patience and calmness.

At fourteen Silas took his first child. The act of kidnapping the babies of other species is a cardinal instinct for the faeries, but it's also the reason faeries are an underground species. Silas' first baby was Arthur and, for all sixty years that Arty lived, Silas and he remained very close friends. Even as Silas watched his once lively, beautiful boy age, he was happy. When Arty died of a heart attack at the age of sixty, Silas decided then that he needed to have more than one child at a time, as if this could take away the pain of losing them. It didn't. Arty was the first kid to call him Reverend because at the time he was studying religion. Since then kids have affectionately called him Rev.
