We’re all here to have fun, so it would be appreciated if you kept this in mind. No flaming, no trolling, no racism, sexism, etc. If it’s offensive, we’d appreciate if you kept it out of the forums and the chatbox. A little bit in character is fine, seeing as it could be an accurate portrayal, but please try to not overdo it. 002. Please keep swearing and gore to a minimum, and avoid it if you can. This place is meant to be PG-13, after all. Now, I know there’s gangs and stuff but that doesn’t mean you have to describe everything in vivid detail. 003. No power-playing or god-modding. Essentially, this just means you can’t play someone else’s character and your character can’t be invincible. Now, if you need to sort of control someone else’s character to move the topic along, and you have gained their permission to do so, that’s alright, but don’t go overboard. 004. We do have a word minimum of 100 words per in character post; however, that’s not much. We’d like it if you could try your hardest to keep about equal with whoever you’re posting with, out of respect. If they give you 600 words to go off of and you just barely scrap by at 125 words, you really aren’t being fair with them. We all have bad days with muse, we understand that. We aren’t asking you to nail it every time, just try your hardest. 005. Speaking of which, if you could please use your best grammar and spelling, it would be greatly appreciated. It’s a nicer read when it all flows, and it’s more likely to be clear, concise, and make sense. [/justify] plot-specific, [justify]001. You have permission to make a character of any known race from any sort of mythology. Unicorns, banshees, wendigos…. Anything and everything! Of course, there are humans too, but they don’t have to be all boring with blond hair and blue eyes. Get creative! Purple hair? Why not? For this reason, we prefer anime images over real photos. 002. Earth is just a myth; this little world is an image of it. Technology is not quite as advanced as we now it. There’s electricity, lights, medicine, and steam engines, but there certainly aren’t planes, cars, phones or too much farm equipment. The medicine is perhaps the most advanced part of this world. Guns are rare and, as such, must be purchased from the shop. Keep all this in mind; when in doubt, check the shop. If it isn’t there and it isn’t listed here, you should be good to go. If you really aren’t sure, ask a staff member! 003. All characters, non-human and human alike, can have a power or ability, or even a couple. However, all powers must relate to each other. No longer true! If any powers are becoming too popular, they’ll be put up in the shop for a bit. Popularity depends on the power – we might let fire get to 15 before we put it in the shop, but something more unique like time might be in the shop after 2 or 3 users are made. There will be a note beside purchase-only powers in the power list, so you’ll be able to tell. WIP applications started before a purchase-only case is implemented will not have to purchase the power, provided they already had the power put in their application. 004. The government here is purely democratic. The members of government are elected representatives, chosen by the people. There is a royal family, but they are merely there as a public figure. They look and sound important, but they don't do anything. In the case that the elected official should step down, die, or no longer be trusted, only then does the royal family take over. You're free to make members from either the royal family or the government, but please keep in mind the royal family is all at least part human. 005. There are a few roles in life here. First, and most common, is being a civilian, from there you can end up in most other areas (farming, weaving, gang member, etc.). Then, you have the Guardians, who are essentially the police of this world. Third is the government officials, who make the laws and run the country. They are elected officials and, as such, were initially civilians and will become civilians again. Lastly is the royal family. They are born to their high position, and they appear at many, if not all, events, particularly those in Carvalo. They only have the power to rule when the head government official, simply known as the Leader, dies, steps down, or is rebelled against. They take charge until a new Leader is elected. 006. All characters are limited to two powers or abilities that are not traditional to your character's race. If, for example, you play a dragon, your character naturally has the ability of flight and the power of fire. These do not count towards your two abilities or powers. Anything beyond this does.
